reides the kingdra is one of the most iconic pokemon in my entire collection. he was my very first ribbon master; i have quite literally spent hours upon hours upon hours with this kingdra, and i absolutely adore him. i named him after my very first dnd oc, the iconic reides laverath.

i made a ton of posts about reides while i took on the ribbon master challenge for the first time. i wanted to record pretty much everything i could about my journey with him, and it paid off - because i love revisiting those posts and looking back on all the memories i have with him. while i probably should refrain from repeating everything i wrote (haha!), i do really want to emphasize how important this kingdra is to me... because i really think that he reminded me why i love pokemon so very much. thanks to reides, i was able to experience elements of pokemon gameplay that i never would have even thought about otherwise. without reides, i would have no other ribbon masters! he's everything to me.
